Offering diverse and innovative learning opportunities
CIFAL stands for “Centre International de Formation des Autorites et Leaders” (in French). GCEOA [link to GCEOA brand page] hosts the UNITAR CIFAL Centre in Beirut, Lebanon. Established in 2023, CIFAL Lebanon offers diverse and innovative learning opportunities, and promotes knowledge exchange among global public servants and leaders, and communities, enhancing capacities, fostering informed decision-making, and advancing sustainable development.
A Hub for the Exchange of Knowledge
The CIFAL Global Network is composed of 31 International Training Centers for Authorities and Leaders, all coordinated by UNITAR’s Social Development Programme. The strategic locations of the 31 centers, which can be found across Asia, Oceania, Africa, Europe, the Americas, and the Caribbean ensure a global outreach. Each CIFAL Centre provides innovative training and serves as a hub for the exchange of knowledge amongst government officials, the private sector, and civil society.
